At this time, it would be the longest tour of my career, playing 83 shows in 108 days, spanning across 9 countries.

Touring is extremely repetitive by its very nature, with countless hours spent in transit, travelling from one venue to the next. Most of my time over these 16 weeks was spent not performing, but rather sitting in a moving van — the North America portion of the tour alone consisted of 22,000 kilometres in 61 days.

It was not long into the tour before I began to lose track of entire days, as one city faded into the next, our rituals became routines, and our schedules standardized. In an attempt to stay present through all of the travel, I began to document the changing landscapes as seen from my seat in the van. My eyes barely noticed as the terrain slowly changed, but upon reflecting on these diverse images I gathered, the topography we travelled was vast, haunting and sublime.

These photographs are my attempt to hold onto this time in my life, to remember the whirlwind of new landscapes, new experiences, and new information.
